Five engines are available to power the Dodge Charger lineup. Off the line, it starts with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, standard on SXT and GT models. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 generates 300 horsepower with 264 lb.-ft. of torque. Select the Charger RT, and enjoy the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with its 370 horsepower and 395 lb.-ft. of torque. Charger Scat Pack and Scat Pack Widebody 392 models get the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 with 485 rumbling horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque. The supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 in the SRT Hellcat Widebody produces 717 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque, the SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody with its supercharged 6.2L HEMI® High Output SRT® V8 Engine delivers 807 horsepower and 707 lb.-ft. of torque, making it America’s fastest four-door muscle car. It can also stop like an expensive sports car with a set of Brembo six-piston High-Performance Brake systems.

Challenger SXT and GT models offer something not found in the competitors, a choice of rear wheel drive or all-wheel drive (AWD) drivetrains. The available AWD system helps drivers maintain control when traction is less than ideal. Wet roads, snowy roads, muddy roads, gravel roads – AWD helps provide optimal traction, on and off the track.

Performance cars should sound as powerful as they are. Hemi V-8 equipped Charger models feature a standard 2.75-inch electronically controlled active exhaust system, which delivers that signature Dodge muscle-car sound.
